Tator Tot Casserole

This recipe reminds me of when I was a little girl. I used to beg my mom to make it for me. It is so good and just reminds me of my childhood and nothing is better than that.
Ingredients -
1 Bag Frozen Tator Tots (32 oz)
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Butter (melted)
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese (grated)
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 Medium Onion (chopped)
1 Cup Corn Flakes
 
Preparation:

1. Thaw the tator tots and break the up.

2. Add the sour cream, butter, cheese, soup, and onion.

3. Mix the up very well.

4. In a 9x13 pan spread them around evenly.

5. It is best if they sit overnight.

6. Top them with cornflakes that have been mixed with 1/2 cup of melted butter.

7. Cook the next day at 350 for 50 minutes.

Serving Suggestion
I like to serve tator tot casserole with a piece of mushroom chicken and some salad. It makes for a nice round meal and is delicious.

Right at the end, like 15 minutes before you pull the tater tots out of the oven sprinkle some cheese on top and it will get golden and it makes the dish even more delicious. You can’t ever have enough cheese I think.
